What ShareWith stores, why, and how Google account data is used. Last updated 4 October 2026.
ShareWith uses Google sign-in in two places, and only for the purposes below:
drive.file permission, so it can only see and change the backup files it created itself — nothing else in that Drive.Google data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our server. You can disconnect at any time from ShareWith, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
ShareWith's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, and remember your light/dark theme. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Server data, including your files, may be copied to the administrator's Google Drive backup. Deleting a file removes it from the server; copies in older backups may persist until the backup is cleaned up. To have your account and files removed entirely, contact us.
